Cornelia Camara

Cornelia is a biochemist with over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, more than 15 years in medical devices and 10 years in cosmetics. Cornelia graduated from the University of Geneva/Switzerland with a Masters in Biochemistry and subsequently held positions in major pharmaceutical and biotech companies such as

  • Ares Serono (Merck-Serono), where she worked in the quality control of a GMP laboratory.
  • Sanofi-Synthélabo (Sanofi-Aventis), where she was Regulatory Affairs Officer in the field of neurology
  • Debiopharm, where she coordinated the licensing-in department in oncology drug development.

In the year 2006 she started regulatory affairs consultancy by coaching and training start-up companies in the Scientific Park of the Polytechnic School in Lausanne, and then headed the Swiss local office of Donawa Lifescience Consulting, acting on European and U.S. level.

In 2010 she founded Camara and Partners, implemented the clinical CRO activities in 2014, and founded Camara and Partners South Africa in 2025.

Cornelia is specialized in regulatory affairs and quality systems.

Marion has 24 years of experience in clinical research both in medical device and pharmaceutical industry.

She held several positions in start-ups and major companies such as :

  • Medical Control SA, a medical device start-up based in Plan-les-Ouates where she started as a clinical research associate and became a project manager.
  • Dyansys, Inc, medical device company she founded with computer engineers and mathematicians’. 
Dyansys is developing diagnostic tools based on innovative mathematic algorithms using the cardiac signal. She was in charge of the FDA approvals and the worldwide clinical development program of the devices in several therapeutic areas.
  • Vifor Pharma, a pharmaceutical company where she was in charge of several international phase II and III studies, mainly on pediatric populations as a project manager.

Marion graduated from the University of Lyon/France with a licence degree in biochemistry and a Master in Neurophysiology.
Since 2015, Marion is a consultant specialised in clinical trials operational activities on adult and pediatric population.

Zeina is a Doctor of Pharmacy with over 25 years of experience in clinical research and pharmacovigilance acquired from her career and collaboration with very small biotech companies to large pharmaceutical laboratories and Contract Research Organisations (CRO’s).
Since 2012, Zeina provides consultancy services as Clinical Project Manager (CPM), Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Pharmacovigilance (PV) Manager and as a Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV).

Prior to consultancy, Zeina held various positions in pharmaceutical companies and CRO’s such as:

  • GALDERMA, an international company specialized in dermatology, where she worked for 13 years as
    a Clinical Project Manager, PV Manager and Medical Writer.
  • PPD, one of the largest global CRO’s, where she was a senior Clinical Project Manager for 3 years, managing full-services contracts in respiratory, gastrointestinal and dermatologic diseases.
  • Novartis Pharma where Zeina was a CRA for 3 years in respiratory, rheumatology and oncology studies.

Zeina is based in France and graduated from the University of Pharmacy in Marseille (France).

Eduard has more than 30 years of clinical experience of which 10 years hospital experience and more than 20 years in both major and small to mid-sized pharmaceutical and medical device companies :

  • University Hospital in Geneva/Switzerland as MD, Consultant in gastro-enterology and visceral surgery, leading several clinical research projects
  • Synthélabo Pharma Switzerland as a Medical Director
  • Sanofi Aventis as a Medical Director and Head of Medical Affairs
  • Founder and Chief Medical Officer position in several Start Up and early stage companies
  • Aptissen Switzerland, Vice President Medical Affairs

Eduard designed and supervised numerous clinical trials ranging from phase I to phase IV, in the field of oncology, dermato-immunology, ophthalmology and internal medicine.

His consultancy activities are focused on clinical development and medical advice in Europe (including Eastern European countries) and the Middle East.

Eduard graduated as MD with specialty in internal medicine at the University of Zagreb/ Croatia, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Geneva/Switzerland. He holds the Swiss ECMP/FMH title of specialist in pharmaceutical medicine.
